A quick update about Snapchat Live in Sri Lanka once more. This time broadcasting to the world the "Esala Perehera" in Kandy, Sri Lanka held on the 29th of August! The Esala Perehara is conducted as respect towards Lord Buddha, as his tooth relic is taken around accompanied by cultural celebrations; including the traditional Kandyan dancers, fire dancers, happy elephants etc. This tradition is said to be about 2000 years old and is also said to be the start of the monsoon season.
